Nvidia Corporation is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California. The company develops graphics processing units (GPUs), systems on chips (SoCs), and application programming interfaces (APIs) for data science, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and mobile and automotive applications. The NVIDIA Jetson TX2 AI processor is also integrated into Elbit Systems' Lanius drones, which Israel has used to kill Palestinian civilians during the Gaza genocide. Nvidia's second largest research and development center outside of the U.S. is in Israel, and 13% of its global workforce is in Israel as of 2024. In 2023, Nvidia launched Israel-1, one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers, in partnership with Dell. Housed in Nvidia’s Israeli data center, Israel-1 is designed to serve the company’s R&D team and other “selected partners." -- Listed on NASDAQ (NVDA), Nvidia Corporation is backed by leading sovereign wealth funds, most notably NBIM and Temasek.
